Pittsburgh’s Ninth Annual Vintage Retro Fair at Heinz History Center

PITTSBURGH (PTTP) – The Ninth Annual Retro Fair, Vintage Pittsburgh, will send you “back in time” at the Heinz History Center this Saturday, April 1. The Vintage Fair is a family-friendly event packed with over 45 local vendors selling all kinds of far-out vintage finds, including clothing, accessories, home decor, vinyl records, and so much more.

The Vintage Pittsburgh fair welcomes retro enthusiasts of all ages. While you shop-till-you-drop, the fair also provides several interactive activity stations, as well as food and beverage vendors for shoppers to enjoy throughout the day. Admission to the fair is included with an admission ticket to the Heinz History Center and is free for current Heinz History Center members.

“We are always trying to make history relevant at the Heinz History Center. We want to connect what’s happened in the past to what’s happening today and programs like this allow us to do that,” stated Brady Smith, Director of Marketing and Communications.

Not only does this event support many local and family-run businesses, but it encourages people in the community to explore different ways of eco-friendly shopping and reuse while connecting with one another and learning along the way.

“I always enjoy all the kinds of people I end up seeing… There’s always lots of conversations and everyone has a story that they want to share when they see some old piece that their grandmother had, or someone you know that also had a story for the same exact thing,” stated Liz Ober of Little Bit’s Pieces, a vendor at the fair.

The fair will run on Saturday, April 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about the Vintage Pittsburgh fair and to get your tickets, head to their website at www.heinzhistorycenter.org/event/vintage-pittsburgh/.
