Dylan Foster is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh double majoring in Film & Media Studies and Communications with a certificate in Television and Broadcast Arts.
Born in DuBois, Pennsylvania, Dylan moved to Pittsburgh in the Fall of 2020 to attend the University of Pittsburgh and quickly realized his passion for the world of media. In his free time, Dylan likes to watch the latest hit TV shows, catch up with his friends and explore the city on miles-long runs. Dylan has worked as a production team member on the University of Pittsburgh’s student-run late-night talk show Pitt Tonight, as a technical director for the University of Pittsburgh’s broadcast of the Pitt Dance Marathon charity event, and as a segment producer, teleprompter operator, graphics producer and political reporter for Pitt to the Point. Dylan is particularly interested in the “behind-the-scenes” of the broadcast world, including producing, video shooting and editing.
Dylan is reliable, dedicated and an effective communicator with a passion for ensuring his work is of the highest caliber. He hopes to continue to learn more and expand his skills through his time at Pitt to the Point and desires to move forward with a career in the world of broadcast.
