Brazil Nuts Brings Portuguese to Pitt

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (PTTP) – The Brazil Nuts is a student organization promoting the Portuguese language and culture at the University of Pittsburgh. The organization offers various events, opportunities, and representation for undergraduates interested in Portuguese.

Every Monday at 4:30 p.m., students can practice their Portuguese skills during the weekly bate-papo sessions at the Pitt Global Hub at Wesley W. Posvar Hall. Each bate-papo has a different theme, so you’ll never run out of things to discuss and learn in Portuguese!

The Brazil Nuts has a lineup of impressive events this month, including a samba workshop on March 17 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the William Pitt Union Dance Studio. The Brazil Nuts are also hosting a global karaoke event in collaboration with language clubs on March 26 in the William Pitt Union Assembly Room. Students of all Portuguese levels are encouraged to join Brazil Nuts and participate in these exciting events! Students can check out Brazil Nuts’ Instagram (@PittBrazilNuts) for more information.
