Farren Levitt

Farren Levitt is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a degree in Film
Production with certificates in Television & Broadcasting and Professional and Public
Writing. Originally from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, Farren came to Pitt eager to explore
a wide range of creative opportunities. She discovered her passion for TV and
broadcasting after enrolling in the front bench class on a whim, a decision that ultimately
shaped her academic and professional path. Since then, Farren has gained hands-on
experience in media production and storytelling across multiple platforms.

At Pitt, Farren serves as the Social Media Manager for the Broadcasting Club and
works as a Social Media Intern for the Pitt Men’s Hockey Team, where she creates
engaging content to amplify the club’s presence on campus. She also completed an
internship with KDKA Radio this summer, where she produced the student-run show
Next Take and served as a co-host, gaining real-world experience in radio production.
She also currently serves as a Teaching Assistant for the broadcasting course Human
Interest Stories, supporting students through their own storytelling in people-centered
media. In addition to her media work, Farren is employed at The Milkshake Factory, an
experience that reflects her strong work ethic and commitment to putting her full effort
into every role she takes on. Whether working in broadcast media, digital content, or
customer service environments, she approaches every opportunity with dedication,
adaptability, and professionalism, which she will bring to her first season in Pitt to the
Point. Farren’s career goals include producing and editing television and broadcast
media, with a focus on storytelling that connects with audiences in meaningful and
innovative ways.
