PITTSBURGH, PA (PTTP) – On April 18th, the University of Pittsburgh’s Fashion Business Association will host their annual fashion show at the William Pitt Union on Pitt’s campus at 7 pm. This year’s show, titled Enchantia, features outfits designed, modeled, and financed by University of Pittsburgh students. themed around the medieval period
The Fashion Business Association, which focuses on connecting students interested in the fashion industry, uses events like the show to build professional skills while fostering creativity and collaboration. FBA is currently the only fashion-related club on campus and helps students with multiple aspects of the industry, including modeling, marketing, design, and more.
Organizers say the annual fashion show is the group’s signature event, combining student design, modeling, and production with a larger mission of community impact. Each year, proceeds from the show are donated to a local charity, continuing a tradition of philanthropy tied to the event.
Past shows have featured elaborate themes and collections, ranging from vintage Hollywood-inspired designs to modern reinterpretations, showcasing the creativity and versatility of Pitt students.
This year’s Enchantia show is expected to continue that tradition, blending storytelling and fashion while drawing students, faculty, and members of the Pittsburgh community.
The event also reflects the organization’s broader goal of bridging fashion and business, offering students real-world experience that extends beyond the classroom. Tickets for the show are available online, with organizers encouraging early purchase as interest continues to grow for one of Pitt’s most anticipated spring events.
