PITTSBURGH (PTTP) – It’s officially draft week in the Steel City, the event that every person in Pittsburgh has been talking about for months. Hundreds of thousands of people have graced the North Shore, fans of all 32 NFL teams traveling in to find out who will be joining their rosters, live and in person. While this is the highlight of the weekend for most, there is still plenty more to do out on the North Shore and around Pittsburgh before Commissioner Goodell takes the stage.

Attractions have been built across Pittsburgh for fans to experience before the draft begins. Fans have the opportunity to kick field goals outside of Acrisure Stadium, race officially 40 times set by NFL professionals, and can test their vertical against combine statistics from years past. Not only that, but there’s also an ability to look like a pro. Mock stages are set up for fans to walk down and hoist a jersey for their respective team, simulating being selected as the number 1 overall pick. On top of that, mock NFL locker rooms are available to walk through, where fans can put on gargantuan hats for each franchise and take photos with gear from each roster. The Steelers are also taking part in showing off, with sections dedicated to their collection of Lombardi Trophies and Super Bowl rings. Not only that, there are multiple areas for Steeler fans to come together with one another to prepare for the draft, with the biggest of them all being on the field at Acrisure Stadium, where people can lay blankets out and watch their black and gold make their pick when the Draft opens.

Not only are there attractions for fans, but there will also be Steeler Greats available for autographs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The full list of athletes and their times can be found on the NFL OnePass app. Attractions will also take place at Point State Park, and businesses will be open all across the city. Fans can access the draft activities starting at 12:00 pm EST on Thursday and Friday, and 9:00 am EST on Saturday.
