Caleb Nesbit is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, double majoring in Psychology and Communication, as well as completing a Television and Broadcast Arts certificate. For his final semester at the university, Nesbit is elated to be returning for a second season of Pitt to the Point.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Nesbit has a passion for storytelling that can be traced back to his grade school days where he would write stories about the daily adventures of, he and his classmates. While taking film and media classes in both high school and college, Nesbit discovered the beauty of visual media as an outlet for sharing stories about the world around us. His work on season two of Pitt to the Point, made him fall in love with the production side of television, and has cemented his decision to pursue a career in the field after college.
Outside of Pitt to the Point, Nesbit is a mentor for the BRIDGES program, where he helps to guide incoming first year students from underrepresented communities. He is a Pitt Pathfinder, which are the campus tour guides for the Office of Admissions. He is also a member of the 2020 cohort of Roe E. Stamps Scholars.
