
Jade Davis is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Political Science, with a minor
in Africana Studies and a Certificate in Television and Broadcast Arts. She is from Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. She is the Vice President and soon-to-be President of Delta Alpha Pi International
Honor Society and a Spring 2025 initiate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, where
she serves as Anti-Basileus (Vice President) of the Theta Nu Chapter.
Jade has a strong background in media production, leadership, and service. She currently serves
as Podcast Director of WPTS Radio, overseeing podcast production, leading weekly meetings,
and training staff. She is also the creator and host of Navigating the Ivory Tower the
most-listened-to podcast series in WPTS history which centers the experiences of Black students
at predominantly white institutions. Her campus involvement includes leadership roles with the
Multiracial Student Association, Broadcast Club, and the Academic Foundations Bridges
Program as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. With internship experience at SLB Radio and
KDKA Audacy’s Next Take, Jade’s career goal is to pursue a future in broadcast journalism or
political media, where she can tell impactful stories, engage communities, and amplify
underrepresented voices through ethical and informed reporting.
