I am a sophomore at Pitt studying communications, with a minor in film and media studies, and
pursuing a certificate in television broadcast arts. I am from a city a little over half an hour north
of Pittsburgh and I am happy to be pursuing my education and career in my ‘hometown’
I have had a passion for sports my whole life and have always dreamt of working as a play by
play announcer or on-ice reporter for the National Hockey League.
Since I have gotten to the University of Pittsburgh, I have had the incredible opportunity to announce as color analyst for Pitt Women’s Basketball and am excited for more opportunities to announce within different sports on campus.
I have been working as a production assistant at Pitt’s state-of-the-art broadcasting studio- Pitt
Studios since the beginning of my Freshman year. I am now an intern at Pitt Studios and work in
the control room for nationally televised Pitt sports working in roles such as graphics, score bug
operation, and technical direction.
