Lily Peters is a second-year at the University of Pittsburgh where she is working to obtain
a degree in Professional Media and Communications Film with a certificate in
Broadcast Television.
She is from the Lehigh Valley Area, in Easton Pennsylvania. Lily loves storytelling and
wants to share peoples’ stories through broadcasting and media. This is her second
season on Pitt to the Point and she can’t wait for all the amazing work everyone will be
doing this year.
Outside of the classroom, she is also currently serving as the Business Chair of the
Broadcast Club at Pitt, a sports staff writer at The Pitt News, is a production intern for
the ACC Network at Pitt Studios, a Public Relations Intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers, a
Media Relations intern with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and is a social media and
communications intern with Pitt Athletics.
In her free time, she loves snowboarding, journalism, and watching football, (specifically
the Green Bay Packers). After college, she would love to work for a team full time under
their broadcasting, communications, or social media department
