Zack Hankins is a senior at Pitt, majoring in film and media studies on the production track as
well as political science. He comes from the small town of Swampscott, Massachusetts, a town
a just outside of Boston.
Zack has been involved in film and broadcasting since high school. He was on the crew for
2024 season of Pitt to the Point He has also been involved in the production of many short films
both as a general crew member as well as director. He has directed four short films, placing
particular emphasis on visual storytelling and the use of the camera. Zack specializes in
cinematography and color grading and hopes to bring these skills directly into the film industry.
