Lily Peters is a first-year at the University of Pittsburgh where she is working to obtain a degree in Professional Media and Communications Film with a certificate in Broadcast Television.
She is from the Lehigh Valley Area, in Easton Pennsylvania. Lily loves storytelling and wants to share peoples’ stories through broadcasting. This is her first season on Pitt to the Point and she can’t wait for all the amazing work everyone will be doing this year.
Outside of the classroom, she is also currently serving as the Business Chair of the Broadcast Club at Pitt, a sports staff writer at The Pitt News, hosts a weekly sports show and calls Pitt Football and Basketball games with 92.1 WPTS, volunteers for the ACC Network as a production assistant, a Public Relations Intern for the Pittsburgh Steelers and is a communications intern with Pitt Athletics.
In her free time, she loves snowboarding, journalism, and watching football, (specifically the Green Bay Packers). After college, she would love to be a sports anchor for a newscast or a sideline reporter.
