Maria Capozzoli is a current junior at the University of Pittsburgh, where she is studying Communications with a minor in Africana Studies and a certificate in Television and Broadcasting Arts. She plans to have a career in broadcasting and media.
Maria lives in Newport, PA, and attended Newport High School, where she grew a passion for all sports. Moving to Pittsburgh allowed Maria to continue to get involved with new programs and everything related to Pittsburgh sports. She is currently the University wrestling team’s manager.
Maria has always been enamored by the behind-the-scenes process of all things television broadcasts, so she is excited to gain more knowledge with hands-on work on Pitt to the Point. In her free time, Maria enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with her family.
