Marisa Funari is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, and she is actively working towards a degree in Media and Professional Communcations with a minor in Film and Media Studies.
She is originally from Buffalo, New York but has recently moved full time to Pittsburgh. Marisa is infatuated with the city lifestyle and loves all of the opportunities Pittsburgh has to offer. This is her first semester on Pitt to the Point and she is thrilled to be working alongside such talented classmates and professionals. This is going to be an amazing learning opportunity for her.
In her free time, she loves reading and watching rom-coms. Currently, Colleen Hoover is her favorite author, and her favorite movies right now are How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Anyone but You.
