Noah Dann is currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a Media and Professional Communications degree. He plans to also acquire a Sports Studies certificate and a Television and Broadcast Arts certificate. With these, he hopes to become a sports broadcaster in the future.
In middle school, Noah was a part of the student news crew and assumed a predominant role in his final year. He also announced for his brother’s football team over the speakers in the stadium for a season. Noah is from Greensburg, PA and is an alum of Greensburg Salem High School.
Growing up in Western PA, he is a diehard fan of all of the Pittsburgh sports teams including the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, and Pitt Panthers. He has always felt a strong connection to the city of Pittsburgh and hopes to remain in the city after graduating.
Beyond his academic pursuits Noah is also an active member of Broadcasting Club at Pitt acting as the club’s Technical Logistics Chair, being a part of most events the club broadcasts. His favorite events he has been a part of include the Panther Choice Awards and Pitt Dance Marathon.
