Pittsburgh, PA (PTTP)- If you’re looking to make this Valentine’s Day special in Pittsburgh,
there are plenty of unique activities to enjoy.
For a creative gift, head to the Made It! Market at The Block Northway on February 8 for local,
handmade treasures. You and your date can also try your hand at glassblowing at the Pittsburgh
Glass Center, where you can create a glass flower or wine glass. If painting is more your style,
Paint Monkey’s Valentine’s Open Studio offers a chance to paint together with a bottle of wine in
hand.
For something a little more competitive, check out Ace Axe Throwing or Lumberjaxes, where
you can try your skills at axe throwing. And for a bit of science mixed with romance, the Daniel
G. and Carole L. Kamin Science Center is hosting a “Seductive Science” event on February 14.
Couples can also enjoy a romantic evening at Schenley Park’s rink for a Valentines on Ice
session, or take a quiet stroll through the Heinz History Center’s Candlelight Tour, exploring
Pittsburgh’s history under soft, flickering lights.
With so many options, Pittsburgh offers a little something for every couple this Valentine’s Day.
