Brazil Nuts – Brining Portuguese to Campus

PITTSBURGH (PTTP) – Brazil Nuts is an organization that is bringing the Portuguese language and culture to campus. They offer a variety of events and opportunities for students, Brazilian or not, to come together and engage with each other.

Every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., students can come to their weekly bate-papo at the Global Hut in Posvar where conversations are held so all levels of Portuguese can practice and participate. There is a different theme every week, so the conversations are endless.

Brazil Nuts member, Joey Stuter, expresses, “Anybody from any level is welcomed. It’s also a really great opportunity to meet other people who might be at different levels, and the more friends you make, the more conversation partners you have, the better your Portuguese becomes.”
