Delaney Pipon is a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a degree in Media and
Professional Communications with a focus in Professional Writing and a certificate in Global
Studies, set to graduate in April 2026. As a native of Murrysville, PA, just 30 minutes outside of
Pittsburgh, Delaney brings a local perspective to her work.
Her lifelong passion for creative writing naturally evolved into a pursuit of journalism, driven by
her belief that everyone has a story worth telling and deserves a platform to share it. Currently in
her first season with Pitt to the Point, Delaney also serves as a staff writer for The Pitt News and
contributes lifestyle blogs to Studio Four One Two, Pitt’s lifestyle magazine club.
When she’s not writing, you can find Delaney reading, skiing, or rewatching her favorite comfort
movies. She’s thrilled to be part of the team and can’t wait to see all the amazing work they’ll
