Doron Loewenberg is a Senior at the University of Pittsburgh where he is working to complete his BA in The History and Philosophy of Science, his minor in Computer Science, and his certificate in Sports Studies. Hailing from Stamford, Connecticut, Doron has loved his time at Pitt and will be sad to leave at the end of this semester.
Doron did some video and radio work for his high school’s AV club, St. Luke’s School’s “Eye of the Storm,” but took a break once he arrived at college. Taking broadcast courses his Junior year, however, helped him rediscover his love of the medium and encouraged him to further his engagement with Pitt’s broadcast opportunities. This is his only year working on Pitt to the Point, and he cannot wait to finish out his academic career working alongside and learning from his classmates.
In his free time Doron loves playing board and video games, reading, giving tours of Pitt’s Cathedral of Learning, writing for the University of Pittsburgh’s only late-night show Pitt Tonight, and doing improv with Ruckus, Pitt’s premier improv comedy group.
