Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

PITTSBURGH, PA (PTTP) – The annual Spring Flower Show returns this month with a fresh twist on a
beloved tradition, offering visitors a vibrant and fragrant escape from winter’s chill.

Titled Spring Flower Show: A Bloom for Every Room, this year’s exhibit opens on Saturday,
March 22, and runs for just four weeks. The show highlights quintessential spring blooms in
dazzling displays, with each room dedicated to a different seasonal flower. Guests can immerse
themselves in the unique beauty of tulips, pansies, lilies, and more, appreciating their intricate
details and vivid colors.

Among the show’s standout features is the Palm Court, where sparkling crystal garlands hang
above a striking variety of tulips. The Victoria Room showcases a breathtaking rainbow of
pansies arranged in a stunning gradient. Elsewhere, visitors can marvel at pink and blue
delphiniums beneath elegant dried flower chandeliers or gaze up at colorful kites soaring above
pink, red, and orange floral arrangements.

Other highlights include a picturesque garden scene featuring a charming cottage with a living
plant roof, and a whimsical display in the Serpentine Room, where topiary bees hover over
oversized dandelions and fields of yellow and purple flowers.

With bursts of color, fragrance, and creativity, this year’s Spring Flower Show promises a unique
sensory experience. Organizers encourage guests to visit before the show ends, as its limited
four-week run offers only a brief opportunity to revel in the beauty of spring’s most iconic
blooms.
