Pittsburgh, PA (PTTP)- Kenny Pickett’s journey from the University of Pittsburgh to the NFL
culminated in a Super Bowl victory with the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9, 2025. As the
backup quarterback behind Jalen Hurts, Pickett’s role was primarily supportive throughout the
season.


In Super Bowl LIX, the Eagles secured a decisive 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Pickett
entered the game late in the fourth quarter, taking seven snaps and kneeling out the final
moments to preserve the lead.


This victory marked the Eagles’ second Super Bowl championship, with Hurts earning the Super
Bowl MVP award for his outstanding performance.


For Pickett, a New Jersey native and lifelong Eagles fan, the Super Bowl experience was a
