
PITTSBURGH (PTTP)- Saul Markowitz is a 1984 University of Pittsburgh Graduate has established himself in the Public Relation field through a plethora of various experiences. Starting at Pitt he was able to find footing in WPGH Radio Station (currently WPTS) and the Pitt News. Through networking and experience he landed various roles in the Public Relations field with Pittsburgh based companies such as the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Benedum Center, Carnegie Mellon College of Fine of Arts, and the Pittsburgh Zoo.
A lifelong dream of Markowitz’s was to open his own PR Agency, which he managed to do with his wife in 1997 opening Markowitz Communications. Since then he has managed to work with a long list of clients making an impact on not only the city of Pittsburgh but the entire world.
“That’s all I did, be creative, don’t be afraid to be yourself, think of new ideas…there’s no such thing as a stupid idea, just go, go for it” Markowitz says about his roles in PR.
Markowitz continues to run his company and has other creative ventures with running a social media account with his son and staying active within the Pittsburgh Community.
