Kyle Louis, a current redshirt junior, has made a name for himself with two standout seasons at Pitt. Now, after attending the 2026 NFL Combine, Louis is being touted as a potential first-round pick. In the North Shore of Pittsburgh, another enigma is spreading its wings. The National Aviary hosted its annual Flamingo Fest. At one of the Aviary’s most popular events, attendees can enjoy flamingo feedings, themed activities and crafts, a scavenger hunt, and educational programs, all while dressing up in pink! This is one of multiple events highlighting a specific species in the National Aviary, intended for guests to increase their depth of knowledge. Pitt News Writer Cassie St. John reported on the event in her new article: “Think pink: the National Aviary hosts Flamingo Fest.”
