Pittsburgh Ties to Super Bowl LVIII

PITTSBURGH (PTTP) – In anticipation of Super Bowl LVIII, Pittsburgh’s sports scene finds
itself entangled in a web of nostalgia and anticipation. As the San Francisco 49ers gear up to face
off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, February 11th at 6:30 pm on CBS, Steel City is
buzzing with connections to the big game.

Pittsburgh native Skyy Moore, a standout Receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, embodies the
city’s spirit as he prepares to represent Western Pennsylvania in the championship showdown.
Hailing from New Kensington, PA, Moore’s journey to the Super Bowl is a testament to
perseverance and dedication. Growing up in the heart of Steelers country, he dreamed of one day
gracing the gridiron on football’s biggest night – a dream that is now a reality.

A product of Shadyside Academy, Moore honed his skills on the high school fields of Western
PA before making his mark at the collegiate level. As a standout player for Western Michigan
University, he caught the attention of NFL scouts with his electrifying performances on the field.
With that said, Moore was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft and wasted no
time in making an impact in the league.

Among the notable ties to Pittsburgh is the presence of Ray-Ray McCloud III, the 49ers dynamic
Punt Returner and Wide Receiver. Despite his brief stint with the Steelers from 2020 to 2021,
McCloud left an indelible mark on the city and the franchise.

Joining McCloud in representing Pittsburgh on the Super Bowl stage is Javon Hargrave, the
formidable Defensive Tackle for the 49ers. Hargrave, who played for the Steelers from 2016 to
2019, brings with him a wealth of experience and a relentless drive to succeed.

As Pittsburgh braces for Super Bowl LVIII, the city finds itself at the intersection of past glory
and future promise, with ties to the game that extend far beyond the gridiron.
