Ryan Tarabokia is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. He majors in media and professional communications and minors in business. He will receive a certificate in Broadcasting.
Growing up in New Jersey, Ryan’s life in Journalism and Broadcasting started early, writing for the Newspaper as a Freshman, and eventually becoming the school’s Head commentator and host for a sports podcast. This is Ryan’s first year at Pitt to the Point, however, he has worked with KDKA as a radio host and calls games with WPTS radio. He has also worked in different roles behind the scenes with ACC Network. He is incredibly excited to work with his uber-talented peers on Pitt to the Point and is ready to face the new challenge ahead this semester
Aside from Broadcasting at Pitt, Ryan spends his free time at the gym, watching sports, thrifting, and spending time with family and friends. He hopes to become a Sports show host or Play-by-play commentator for Football, Basketball, or Baseball later in his career.
