psychic properties, can also be used as storytelling aids? The
Center for Creativity recently hosted a workshop to use the
fortune-telling cards, each with a unique image, for creative
purposes. Participants used the cards to develop a story from
beginning to end, using the symbolism of the cards to guide them.
Even though they had the same cards, no participant’s story was
the same.

Ben Curtis/AP

climate change. Pitt environmental professors Mark Abbott,
Patrick Shirey, and Ward Allebach spoke out against these
measures, arguing that they called for increased fossil fuel
production for a market that doesn’t need it and must shift toward
clean energy solutions. They pointed to climate success stories
such as the 1987 Montreal Protocol as examples of how climate
legislation should be handled.
