Stratus Firm is a production company that creates large scale special events including conferences, galas, and summits. Whyte directly refers to his time in the Pitt Program Council, as his inspiration to pursue a career in special events

This past week, the University of Pittsburgh’s Board of Trustees held their first of three meetings for this year at the William Pitt Union. Chancellor Patrick Gallagher announced that a record number of first-year applications were submitted to Pitt during this year’s college application cycle. Gallagher cites this high interest in Pitt as a sign that the university is moving in a great direction. But there wasn’t just good news coming from the Union that day, as the meeting itself was delayed approximately 15 minutes due to faculty union protestors being ordered to leave by the Pitt Police.

The Pitt Program Council has officially announced the 2023 Bigelow Bash headliner. Carly Rae Jepsen will be performing live on April 2nd, right here on Pitt’s campus. The announcements of opening acts are still to come.
