PITTSBURGH (PTTP) – Girl Scout Cookie season is here, with boxes being sold all over the country. However, sales had a particular rise in the City of Pittsburgh.

6-year-old Girl Scout, Pim Neill, took to social media to give her cookie sales pitch. After a viral TikTok post, Pim has now sold about 120,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

Mayor Corey O’Connor dubbed Friday, February 20th as “Pim Neill Day”, to honor the Girl Scout’s feat.

Pim Neill has broken the single season record for most cookies sold, which was previously around 44,000 boxes. Technology has changed the way these boxes of cookies get sold. While door-to-door sales still act as a traditional box selling method, social media allows the scouts to reach more people quicker.
