PITTSBURGH (PA) – On Sunday, April 12th, President Donald Trump made multiple statements in regard to Pope Leo XIV, including statements claiming he was “WEAK on Crime, and terrible on Foreign Policy”.
President Trump also claimed that the current pope was “Ok for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon”. Pope Leo responded, claiming he had no fear of the current administration. This comes on the heels of the Pope announcing on Saturday, “Enough of War”, in relation to the current conflict in Iran.
This is not the only controversy President Trump has been in this week regarding Christianity. Over the weekend, President Trump posted an AI-generated picture of himself in red and white robes, with many quick to point out connections between his depiction and that of religious figure Jesus Christ. Trump refuted the claim, saying he believed the image depicted him as a doctor.
