Steelers Draft

PITTSBURGH, PA (PTTP) — The NFL draft will take place in Detroit, Michigan on April 25-27. With multiple trades during the free agency period, the Pittsburgh Steelers made significant changes. With an entire new Quarterback room with Russel Wilson and Justin Fields, the team still has some well-needed pieces to have a complete roster.

The Steelers also traded Diontae Johnson to the Panthers, leaving George Pickens at WR1. Its rumored the Steelers are still open to bringing in a veteran receiver from speculations of Tyler Boyd, Justin Jefferson and Brandon Aiyuk. There are no confirmations on what direction the Steelers will take amidst Draft Day.

On April 19, City Sports Reporter Donni Blackwell interviewed Pittsburgh Post Gazette Beat Writer Chris Carter, a notable journalist in the city of Pittsburgh, to discuss a mock draft of the Steelers before Draft Day. Carter writes for the Post Gazette and is also known for his work on the podcast “Locked on Steelers”.
