PITTSBURGH (PTTP) — The Department of English presents two evenings exploring the intersections of art, food, and community activism hosted by Liz Reich. On Tuesday, March 24, Reich hosted a screening with guest and co-producer of American Revolutionary, Professor Scott Kurashige. He is also known as an author, and historian who is dedicated to social justice and community building. The film documented life of legendary Detroit activist Grace Lee Boggs and was followed up with a Q&A from Professor Kurashige.

Wednesday, March 25, Professor Kurashige is joined by Heather Tracy and Denise Rosales, Navajo artists and entrepreneurs behind collaborative food and art spaces in Scottsdale, AZ, including the Frybread Lounge and Native Art Market.
