Trent Bielak, a senior at Pitt-Bradford, was named to the Lou Gehrig Community Impact Team, an honor given to just nine college baseball players nationwide for their leadership, character, and service. Known for making a difference both on and off the field, Bielak has been deeply involved on campus as a resident advisor, a leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and vice president of the Catholic Newman Club, while also helping organize team volunteer efforts in the community. After battling back from injury, he also delivered a strong season at the plate, hitting .328 and continuing to play a key role in his team’s success.
