Pitt Women’s Basketball Takes on a New Head Coach

PITTSBURGH (PTTP) – Pitt’s women’s basketball hires a new head coach a few weeks after letting go of Tori Verdi.  

The new head coach will be Robin Harmony who is widely known and respected in the world of basketball. Harmony is coming out of a winning 25-26 season at the College of Charleston(2019-26) with 122 victories and a program record 27 wins marking her second consecutive 25-win season. Harmony also captured the program’s first ever Coastal Athletic Association conference (CAA) and tournament championships.  

Harmony also has other previous tenures at Lamar University (2013-19) and was the first head coach as St. Thomas University in Florida as well as a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics NAIA member from 2007- 2013.  

Harmony will be bringing her recruitment successes, strong team culture, and player development to Pitt Women’s Basketball for the 27-27 season. She will officially be introduced at a press conference that will be held on Friday, March 27th at 1pm.
